Subject: Yes, the website was updated again. The updated rule is a contestant cannot turn 28 prior to her state pageant - she must be 27 at her state pageant. If she wins her state pageant, she can turn 28 prior to Miss America but she must have been 27 at the state pageant where she was crowned. The national office is listening to the state ED's and giving them a voice. If she has a June 10 birthday and the state pageant is June 11, then she can’t compete.
