I can borrow a spring compressor. I'm more worried about separating the ball joint. And I'm especially worried about how to unscrew the big cap that holds the shock insert into the strut tube. I might just pay someone to do this job for me.

Here's a link to some more in-car video from the latest two rallies. Note: They're not my videos. But I do make an embarrassing appearance in the 1000 Snowbanks clip after I parked my car on top of one of those 1000 snowbanks.

My shock absorber died during the Rallye des Neiges. You can see from the video just how rough those damn roads were. Jeff and Dustin movies. p.s. These guys are nuts!
