I'm not sure as to how BMW goes about making overbore pistons, but i would look into it. Maybe get a set of JE or mahle pistons. You've gone this far, its not time to skimp. First get the walls bored out the least necessary, then get the pistons to match. .010 or .020 over should be fine, but let the machine shop make that decision. Of course, if you went this far, why not get the ireland engineering 2.8 kit? hehe
