They are as good as dustless for daily commuting, and dust about as much as the stock pads when pushing the car on a track.

About wear, quoting myself:
"I have spent a set of front pads (EBC Greenstuff) on my car now. They have seen something like 25-30000 km, ~8 track weekends, ~15 autoX sessions and some gokart track days."

I drive a 318i, and we run fairly short (and many) stints on the tracks on our track days. I don't have ABS, but I do have an aggressive driving style.

I think they wear out a lot faster if you run fewer and longer stints on the tracks.
