Subject: Performance engine theories and stuff for 325i (LONG)

I used to be a big Mustang fan and there was always a lot of talk about engine performance and numbers and calculations to predict potential horsepower. I don't see much info about that around here. What I was looking for were specific numbers to plug into engine dyno programs to determine the potential of a m20 2.5 liter. Here are some numbers I would like:

1) Cylinder head flow numbers based on vavle lift for stock or ported heads, Intake and exhaust.
2) Flow numbers for intake manifold both stock and extrude honed.
3) stock cam specs with lobe sep, lift, duration @ .050 lift, and specs for popular aftermarket cams.
4) Bore, stroke, and rod length, Deck height, stock compression ratios, combustion chamber size, valve size.
5) Stock throttle body size and ported size, and AFM size and 3.5 liter AFM size.
6) Stock exhaust manifold diameter and popular aftermarket exhaust tubing size.
7) And any other important info I am forgetting.

I can see why it is so expensive to get horsepower from the 2.5 liter. I would think that the intake manifold and throttle body are the biggest limitations to gaining real power. Are there any aftermarket products for the intake and TB? I don't see how more than 200hp can be produced with the modified factory intake or TB?

I would really like to discuss this in detail, and collect as much data as possible.

Thanks,
Rob Patterson
