Hmmm... Interesting situation. I'd have to agree with you one the issue. I don't think a late abortion justifies murder. After all, "turn the other cheek", right? Do everything to prevent the abortion, but please, do not kill the doctor.

I'm not sure I agree on your second statement. From a realistic perspective, I probably WOULD like my wife to have an abortion if her life and the babie's life were in danger. But from a theological perspective, I would trust in God to protect my wife from death, and allow the Lord's will to be done. I wouldn't urge or even advise my wife to get an abortion. On the contrary, I would probably warn against it. Rather, I would do all that I could to save my wife's life. If the Lord so willed, the she would live. If the Lord willed not, then she may die, but would probably be in a better place anyway, plus I wouldn't have committed murder. But again, this is theological speculation-- realistically, my actions would probably differ.
