Hey Guys:

Thanks for the well wishes, I appreciate it.

Drew, I am not sure what I could teach Mark about basketball, he probably knows a lot already.

As requested I could probably teach/coach you guys in basketball, but remember, I will coaching basketball at the 9th grade level. Do you think you could use a review of 9th grade ball?

If I would have taken the other job I was interested in, I wouldn't have to do all the fund raising, but I would have had to push the issue. People in the district are split between building a better sports programs or continuing as is. Some people want to raise money to buy new equipment, but they need a leader to ram rod the issue, and that would have been me.

I forgot to mention my part time summer job. The High School Activities Association in my state is changing some of the rule regarding summer conditioning and sports programs. While we still can't have all year long seasons, schools can offer conditioning and training programs. My old high school is starting a summer program and I will be one of the teacher/coach. For kids who sign up, they report to the gym Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 11:30 for a combination of weight training, running and working on skills/fundamentals. This will cover all sports. When I was in high school we could use the gym in the summer to shoot baskets and lift weights, I wish we had this program them.

In the afternoon, if I want I can single roofs again.
