After 8 years, this old New Tom & Jerry/Hanna-Barbera Message Board will soon be retired...and replaced by a brand-spanking new board (powered by Forumer), which will appear in its place! Finishing touches are being made, as this post (which will probably be the last for this old board) is being typed, so it may be out sometime later today or tomorrow. THe link to this old board will remain...for nostalgic purposes only.

Does anyone know the name of the episode with the pip-squack bird? It was a T & J episode with all the "wacky sports" reporters/characters. My sister and I cracked up when we watched it. Am I wrong that it was T&J, and where can one find this episode?

March 12, 2007 is the day we observe one funtastic decade to the day that I, Aaron Handy III, a Commercial Arts/Visual Communications major @ Isaac Delgado Community College and a novice HTML webpage writer, inspired by Randy Aragorn Simcox's Tom And Jerry Information Page, fueled by childhood memories of afterschool viewings of the 1975 Tom & Jerry TV cartoons from Hanna-Barbera, and having taken out a free account @ GeoCities.com (it has since bounced around to four other servers since then), got comfy inside a computer lab @ Delgado, took fingertips to keyboard, and brought to life what became my first contribution to the then-youthful World Wide Web: "AHIII'S Info Page For Hanna-Barbera's The New Tom & Jerry (ABC, 1975-1977)" (sheesh, what a mouthful!). After some adjustments to the title and the addition of images and sound and video files, it would morph into the webpage we all know today as Aaron's New Tom & Jerry Information Site! A new banner for the site has been fashioned in honor of its 10th Anniversary.

A huge thanks to all of you who have and continued to for the past 10 years support the world's first and only known web site devoted solely to the preservation and perpetuation of Hanna-Barbera's 1975 made-for-television incarnation of Tom and Jerry, which for many years has remained my favorite version. Let's hope that DVD release is just around the corner!

So, in celebration of my

Theyre gone...they're both gone.

Yogi Bear creator Joe Barbera dies at 95

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Joe Barbera, half of the Hanna-Barbera animation team that produced such beloved cartoon characters as Tom and Jerry, Yogi Bear and the Flintstones, died Monday, a Warner Bros. spokesman said. He was 95.

Barbera died of natural causes at his home with his wife Sheila at his side, Warner Bros. spokesman Gary Miereanu said.

With his longtime partner, Bill Hanna, Barbera first found success creating the highly successful Tom and Jerry cartoons. The antics of the battling cat and mouse went on to win seven Academy Awards, more than any other series with the same characters.

The partners, who had first teamed up while working at MGM in the 1930s, then went on to a whole new realm of success in the 1950s with a witty series of animated TV comedies, including "The Flintstones," "The Jetsons," "Yogi Bear," "Scooby-Doo" and "Huckleberry Hound and Friends."

Their strengths melded perfectly, critic Leonard Maltin wrote in his book "Of Mice and Magic: A History of American Animated Cartoons." Barbera brought the comic gags and skilled drawing, while Hanna brought warmth and a keen sense of timing.

"This writing-directing team may hold a record for producing consistently superior cartoons using the same characters year after year - without a break or change in routine," Maltin wrote.

"From the Stone Age to the Space Age and from primetime to Saturday mornings, syndication and cable, the characters he created with his late partner, William Hanna, are not only animated superstars, but also a very beloved part of American pop culture. While he will be missed by his family and friends, Joe will live on through his work," Warner Bros. Chairman and CEO Barry Meyer said Monday.

Hanna, who died in 2001, once said he was never a good artist but his partner could "capture mood and expression in a quick sketch better than anyone I've ever known."

The two first teamed cat and mouse in the short "Puss Gets the Boot." It earned an Academy Award nomination, and MGM let the pair keep experimenting until the full-fledged Tom and Jerry characters eventually were born.

Jerry was borrowed for the mostly live-action musical "Anchors Aweigh," dancing with Gene Kelly in a scene that become a screen classic.

After MGM folded its animation department in the mid-1950s, Hanna and Barbera were forced to go into business for themselves. With television's sharply lower budgets, their new cartoons put more stress on verbal wit rather than the detailed - and expensive - action featured in theatrical cartoon.

I shall never, ever forget these magnificent, talented artists...and neither will hundreds of millions of their fans. To absent friends...

Hello.

There is an issue I'd like to open concerning the 1975 H-B Tom & Jerry shows. They're currently not on right now, but I noticed that, from all the VHS recordings I made of them over the past few years from Cartoon Network and Boomerang (when they did air them!), of the 48 7-minute T&J cartoons made for TV in 1975, there are certain ones which haven't aired! Here is a list of them:

"Gopher Broke" (80-09)

"Cosmic Cat And Meteor Mouse" (80-15)

"The Flying Sorceress"* (80-19)

"Termites Plus Two" (80-21)

"The Egg And Tom And Jerry" (80-34)

"Watch Out, Watch Dog" (80-12)

"Triple Trouble" (80-36)

"Cruise Kitty" (80-46)

*Not to be confused with the 1956 MGM T&J cartoon of the same name.

A flagrant case of rerun abuse, maybe? It's not bad enough that they're rerunning the theatricals to death and back... Image

They did, however, air in full force on Canada's Teletoon.

All-New Tom and Jerry short, "THE MANSION CAT," to Premiere Sunday, April 8!

Cartoon Network's BOOMERANG Celebrates Its First Anniversary With Tribute to First Hanna-Barbera Characters, Tom and Jerry

Marathon to Run Sunday, April 1, 8 a.m. through Monday, April 9, 8 a.m. (ET)

Official Turner Press release: BOOMERANG, Cartoon Network's 24-hour commercial-free classic animation cable/satellite network, will celebrate its one-year anniversary on April 1, with a weeklong marathon tribute to
Hanna-Barbera's original champions of the chase, Tom and Jerry. The cat-and-mouse cartoon bonanza will begin Sunday, April 1, at 8 a.m. and run non-stop through Monday, April 9, concluding at 8 a.m. In addition to the marathon, BOOMERANG also will premiere the first new Tom and Jerry short in 34 years (since 1967), "The Mansion Cat," directed by the characters' original co-creator, legendary animator Joe Barbera. "The Mansion Cat," produced in 2000 at Warner Bros. Animation Studios in Burbank, Calif., will play every hour on the hour, for 24 hours, starting Sunday, April 8 at 8 a.m., with a variety of classic theatrical Tom and Jerry shorts showcased in between.

manision cat
With more than 160 Tom and Jerry theatrical cartoons and nearly 45 hours of Tom and Jerry television programming available from the MGM and Hanna-Barbera libraries, BOOMERANG will spotlight a virtual
treasure trove of Tom and Jerry material. Highlights of the eight-day tribute include airings of all seven Academy Award®-winning theatrical shorts produced at MGM Studios: "Yankee Doodle Mouse" (1943), "Mouse Trouble" (1944), "Quiet Please!" (1945), "Cat Concerto" (1946), "The Little Orphan" (1948), "The Two Mouseketeers" (1951)and "Johann Mouse" (1952). Additionally, BOOMERANG will air episodes of Hanna-Barbera's Tom and Jerry/Grape Ape Show and Tom and Jerry Kids, both produced for television.

Headlining the weeklong stunt on BOOMERANG is the world television premiere of "The Mansion Cat," an all-new seven-minute Tom and Jerry short co-directed by Karl Toerge and Joe Barbera.
(Note from Jerry Beck: Actual cartoon credits Karl Toerge as sole director)
Produced in 2000, this new cartoon escapade finds Tom left alone in a large, fancy house while his owner (voiced by Joe Barbera himself) is
away for the day. All goes well until Tom spies Jerry enjoying a mid-morning snack and, in typical fashion, a wild, topsy-turvy chase ensues, destroying the mansion and
its elaborate furnishings in the process. Keen viewers may want to look for some interesting elements inserted into the background of the fast-paced cartoon by the creative team, including several vintage photographs of animators Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera on the wall.

"We simply couldn't dream up a more fitting first-year anniversary for BOOMERANG than a comprehensive tribute to Bill Hanna's and Joe Barbera's first collaborative effort, Tom and Jerry," says Mark Norman, senior vice president and general manager of BOOMERANG. "Tom and Jerry are arguably the most popular cartoon characters across the globe. To this day, they remain one of the top five programs aired on each of the Cartoon Network channels offered around the world. And since BOOMERANG is an entire network devoted to classic animation, primarily shorts and series created by
Hanna-Barbera, this extended marathon presents a perfect opportunity for kids and adults alike to enjoy the antics of their favorite cat-and-mouse team."

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 12, 1997

It was exactly nine years ago today that I, Aaron Handy III, a Commercial Arts/Visual Communications major @ Isaac Delgado Community College and a novice HTML webpage writer, inspired by Randy Simcox's Tom And Jerry Information Page, fueled by childhood memories of afterschool viewings of the 1975 Tom & Jerry TV cartoons from Hanna-Barbera, and having taken out a free account @ GeoCities.com, got comfy inside a computer lab @ Delgado, took fingertips to keyboard, and brought to life what became my first foray into the ever-increasing realm of The Information Superhighway: "AHIII'S Info Page For Hanna-Barbera's The New Tom & Jerry (ABC, 1975-1977)." After some adjustments to the title and the addition of images and sound and video files, it would morph into the webpage we all know today as Aaron's New Tom & Jerry Information Site!

A huge thanks to all of you who have and continue to support the world's first and only known web site devoted solely to the preservation and perpetuation of Hanna-Barbera's 1975-77 series, The New Tom & Jerry Show. To this day, it ranks at the top of my list of my all-time favorite shows from H-B, despite the fact that serious animation fandom/criticism has it that, for many reasons, it's the runt of the litter. The black sheep of the T&J franchise. The bottom of the barrel. And they
continuously liken to it like Trekkies to the third and final season of the original Star Trek. Not that I have anything against the classics, mind you. I enjoy any classic T&J 'toon which doesn't feature Tom and that stripe between his eyes (not his very best feature, IMVHO). But then, in most cases, the classics do tend to be simply overrated.

It managed to weather rough times, too. Within almost a full year alone (October 2001-September 2002), my New Tom & Jerry Info Site had gone through 4 different servers, greatly due to my account being suspended on account of excessive bandwidth! (The servers were forced to slash their data transfer in nearly half
due to the dwindling economy in the wake of the 9/11 attacks.) But, fortunately, it has for the past 3 years been real happy in its new home, @ 50megs.com. And thanks to Internet Archives, we can all have a glance back at how the page evolved in its 4 old servers over the years:
Again, a big thanks to everybody for a magnificent 9 years of The New Tom & Jerry Info Site! party Gosh, I can hardly believe it's almost 10, already; where has the time gone?? Let's pray for that release of the entire series on DVD! praying

The synopsis of "Triple Trouble" reminded me of a short cartoon that I saw a few years ago... I don't know if it was theatrical or made for TV. It might have been made by Hanna-Barbera. This is what I remember:

A man is trying to build a freeway. He crashes against a really big tree and wants to chop it down with an ax. In the tree, there's living a woodpecker who immediately stops the man at his work. The man tries some other things like cutting the tree down with a chain saw (the woodpecker would then drill a hole in the saw and set the gas to fire), and making the woodpecker believe it's snowing so he'd fly to the south etc... If I remember right, they finally made sort of a tunnel into the tree so the cars could drive through it...

Does someone know the name of this cartoon?

I'd like to hear the music that's played from the beginning of the episode "Planet Pest" to the shot where Tom and the alien enter the kitchen... Unfortunately, someone had the idea of giving almost each T&J episode from 1940-75 here in Germany a narrator.
Could someone please send me a WAV or MP3-file with good (well... at least acceptable ;-)) quality of only that minute?

(A day of infamy for Tom & Jerry fans!)

The New Tom & Jerry/Grape Ape Show, a new cartoon series from Hanna-Barbera, premiered @ 8:30 (EDT) on ABC Saturday Morning. Here the long-popular Tom and Jerry, after years of rivalry, have (in order to appease ABC Standards and Practices!) become the best of friends (and Jerry dons a red bowtie, so the animators would be able to "fragment" his movements), in episodes wherein they roamed the world competing in sports, enduring on-the-job misadventures, running afoul of dastardly villains, solving mysteries and helping others.

Each hour-long telecast of New Tom & Jerry/Grape Ape Show was split into five segments in a specific format: alternating with three 7-minute New Tom & Jerry segments were two 10-minute ones concerning a 40-foot purple ape, Grape Ape (voiced by the late Bob Holt) and his fast-talking beagle buddy, a carnival hustler
answering to the unlikely moniker of Beegle Beagle (voiced by Marty Ingels), or "Beegley Beagley," as G.A. would lovingly refer to him. The first shows on the agenda that week were as follows:

"No Way, Stowaways" with Tom & Jerry
"That Was No Idol, That Was My Ape" with Grape Ape
"The Ski Bunny" with Tom & Jerry
"The All-American Ape" with Grape Ape
"Stay Awake Or Else..." with Tom & Jerry

Yes, in spite of every slight, insult, rant and defiling ever cast at this particular version of the beloved cat-and-mouse, it still gets as much airtime as does the classic T&J shorts (thank you CN and Boomerang!). And it remains my firm favorite to this very day.

A Happy, Healthy 30th Anniversary to The New Tom & Jerry Show!! (Grape Ape and Beegle Beagle are 30, too, so let's give them some props as well!)

And now, if you will, kindly SING ALONG!!!

Effective next Thursday, September 1, T&J will be shown on a weekly 2-hour basis, @ 11 AM Eastern. The 30-minute weekend run will resume the following week.

Now, not that I wish to take stock in CN's programming, given the numerous aggravating preemptions, disappointments and letdowns we've had to endure for the bulk of this past summer. But I felt I should let you know anywho...

Does anyone remember the cartoon that had the parents who were airplanes. The father was a fighter plane in the war and the mother stayed home. They had a little son plane that used to zip everwhere. In the episode the father walks in and the mother says...oh george! and holds up little diapers she croched.

it's driving me crazy and I can't find anything on it at all.

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Henry Corden, the voice of cartoon caveman Fred Flintstone's "Yabba-dabba-doo!" for more than two decades, has died. He was 85.

Corden died of emphysema Thursday night at AMI Encino Hospital, his longtime agent Don Pitts said Friday. Corden's wife of nine years, Angelina, was with him at the time.

He took over as the lovable loudmouth Fred Flintstone when original voice Alan Reed died in 1977. Reed had been doing Flintstone since the character debuted in 1960.

Born in Montreal, Corden moved to New York as a child and arrived in Hollywood in the 1940s. His first acting role was in the 1947 film "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty." Known for playing villains, he found small parts in movies, including 1952's "The Black Castle" and "The Ten Commandments" in 1956.

"As Henry said, he always played the cold-blooded creeps," Pitts said.

Corden moved into voice acting in the 1960s, and deployed his dialect skills in bit parts for Hanna-Barbera, including "Jonny Quest," "Josie and The Pussy Cats" and "The New Tom & Jerry Show."

Since "The Flintstones" echoed "The Honeymooners," Corden tweaked his role to approximate Jackie Gleason's Ralph Kramden character, Pitts said.

Corden also contributed to "The Jetsons," "Scooby-Doo" and "The Smurfs."

Corden, who lived in Encino, had been working until his health suffered about three months ago. He can most recently be heard on ubiquitous cereal commercials yelling "Barney, my Pebbles!"

Besides his wife, Corden is survived by five children and five grandchildren. A private memorial "party" is planned, Pitts said.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 12, 1997

It was exactly eight years ago today that I, Aaron Handy III, a Commercial Arts/Visual Communications major @ Isaac Delgado Community College and a novice HTML webpage writer, inspired by Randy Simcox's Tom And Jerry Information Page, fueled by childhood memories of afterschool viewings of the 1975 Tom & Jerry TV cartoons from Hanna-Barbera, and having taken out a free account @ GeoCities.com, got comfy inside a computer lab @ Delgado, took fingertips to keyboard, and brought to life what became my first foray into the ever-increasing realm of The Information Superhighway: "AHIII'S Info Page For Hanna-Barbera's The New Tom & Jerry (ABC, 1975-1977)." After some adjustments to the
title and the addition of images and sound and video files, it would morph into the webpage we all know today as Aaron's New Tom & Jerry Information Site!

A huge thanks to all of you who have and continue to support the world's first and only known web site devoted solely to the preservation and perpetuation of Hanna-Barbera's 1975-77 series, The New Tom & Jerry Show. To this day, it ranks at the top of my llist of my all-time favorite shows from H-B, despite the fact that serious animation fandom/criticism has it that, for many reasons, it's the runt of the litter. The black sheep of the T&J franchise. The bottom of the barrel. And they continuously liken to it like Trekkies to the third and final season of the original Star Trek. Not that I have anything against the classics, mind you. I enjoy any classic T&J 'toon which doesn't feature Tom and that stripe between his
eyes (not his very best feature, IMVHO).

(The servers were forced to slash their data transfer in nearly half due to the dwindling economy in the wake of the 9/11 attacks.) But, fortunately, it has for the past 3 years been real happy in its new home, @ 50megs.com. And thanks to Internet Archives, we can all have a glance back at how the page evolved in its 4 old servers over the years:

Again, a big thanks to everybody for a magnamous 8 years of ! Let's pray for that release of the entire series on DVD!

I was born in the beginning of 1976. I hope it comes out on DVD one of these days. I've always been a Tom and Jerry fan since I was baby going back to 1977. I hope one day I'll have my own child. He/she will watch Tom and Jerry too.

Tomorrow's the day they wrap it all up, and on that day, The New Tom & Jerry/Grape Ape Show will air once again, as they showcase the year 1976! (Another old favourite, The Scooby-Doo/Dynomutt Hour, will re-air as well!)

I didn't see The New Tom and Jerry Show when it first ran (I was 14 years old and growing out of cartoons -- I never thought I would, but I did). I first saw them as a 3 P.M. afternoon show in 1984 on our ABC station (replacing The Edge of Night, which was riding into its last sunset). In the syndicated version, the half hour was filled with all of the MGM cartoons (including Spike and other characters, and also including the short-lived T&J revival from 1964-66, produced and directed by the immortal Chuck Jones and featuring an opera aria in each cartoon, voiced by a guest character), and it opened with one of the most cartoon-violent montages ever seen on television -- Tom dives into a sink which Jerry has emptied, revealing dishes; Tom gets chased around a barnyard by a bull, ending in Tom getting a tin bucket slammed onto the back of his head; Tom gets the back of his French suit chopped off with an axe pushed by Tuffy; Tom gets a window slammed on his neck, causing his tongue to roll out, and several others I'm quietly forgetting. This one had a piano theme with lots of glissandos. IMHO, though, the 1975 T&J theme was one of Hoyt Curtin's best, and that is NO mean feat considering he had The Flintstones, The Perils of Penelope Pitstop, Josie and the Pussycats (all of which are downloadable from a theme song site; however, The New T&J isn't). The TV-made cartoons do look rather languid compared to the old ones, especially since (because Tom and Jerry are buddies, with the occasional tiff), every episode had to feature a guest star who talked all the time (open mouth, close mouth, open mouth, close mouth, often while walking, so the same sequence of drawings could be used ad infinitum). Usually Tom and Jerry were limited to making faces at the guest star until he left (I don't think there were any female guests).

I was startled to hear that Don Messick has left the building. When did he pass on? He was certainly one of the great voice artists of our time, and I think he could have made a living as a character actor on camera (he was a regular -- playing a voice artist, of course -- on The Duck Factory, an instant-flop live-action MTM sitcom about an animation studio, remembered as the TV starring debut of Jim Carrey). And, of course, everybody remembers him as Papa Smurf, Dr. Benton Quest, Boo Boo, Scooby-Doo (did he do the voice for the movie?) and heaven knows how many more.

I think this site is SUPER.

It took 3 years to do it, but, as of Sunday, June 1, my local cable operator, Cox Cable New Orleans, is finally adding Boomerang from Cartoon Network, the 24-hour network for classic cartoons (an English-dubbed edition!), to its Digital Cable lineup!!! Hurrah!!!

Now, I'll finally be able to be in one everything Boomerang has to offer! The yearly Tom & Jerry marathons in April! The June Bugs marathons in June! The weekly spotlight on a certain year every Saturday! Boomeraction! And more!! For a while now, I've had to contend with only a Spanish-dubbed version of Boomerang as part of a "Telelatino Package" of the digital lineup---which you had to pay in order to recieve---because Cox Cable wasn't convinced that an English-dubbed version exists. I think the e-mail I sent 'em finally convinced them otherwise!

I guess the best things really do come to those who wait!

Steve

Hello. I've often wondered exactly how those cartoon shows split into different segments were presented in terms of titles. I live in England, where such cartoon shows tended to be split so that each segment was shown as a separate series. With short cartoons such as Huckleberry Hound, It's the Woolf, Yogi Bear etc, we never used to see main titles, only the episode title caption at the start and usually no closing caption. So it was only fairly recently that I discovered that Yogi Bear and Huckleberry Hound were originally part of the same show. Sometimes a cartoon would be paired up with something totally unrelated, as was the case when The Grape Ape Show was first shown here. There was no sign of Tom and Jerry, and it was immediately followed by Bailey's Comets, a cartoon about a team of roller skaters taking part in a race. I think Bailey's Comets was a De Patie - Freleng production, not a Hanna-Barbera cartoon, though I could be wrong there. No closing credits were shown and I don't remember ever seeing the New Tom and Jerry Show. So I can only guess at how they were originally shown on ABC. Taking the New Tom and Jerry/Grape Ape Show as an example of segmented shows, can anyone tell me if the following "running order" is correct:
Tom And Jerry Show main title
Tom And Jerry episode, starting with an episode title caption and finishing with an end caption.
Commercial
Grape Ape Show main title
Grape Ape episode, with episode title caption and end caption.
Commercial
Tom and Jerry episode, with title and end captions only - no main title
Commercial
Grape Ape episode, with title and end captions only.
Commercial
Tom and Jerry episode, with title and end captions.
Closing titles, listing credits for both Tom And Jerry and Grape Ape.

Is this correct, or were the Tom and Jerry main titles shown at the start of each Tom and Jerry segment and likewise for Grape Ape?
Have I put all the commercial breaks in the right places, or were there also breaks immediately after the main titles and immediately before the closing titles?
What was used as the closing music? Was it that fast banjo tune which was used on several Hanna-Barbera shows in the late seventies?
I know this is a lot of quesstions, but I would really appreciate it if someone could answer them for me. Thanks.

Hi there,

I remember for childhood seeing a lot of Tom & Jerry Cartoons where they two were friends and completed tasks together like being Animal Doctors, I remember an episode where they have to pull out a thorn of a lion's foot.

Also the beginning signation was different, Tom was about to perform in the circus, but fell asleep so Jerry put on Eyeglasses on Tom and painted open eyes on them, then set Tom on rollerskates and let him perform.

Later, I have never seen these episodes nobody but me seems to know them, so please somebody tell me that I am not crazy and these exist.

Thank You Very Much

Subject: Tom & Jerry/Grape Ape Show To Air On Cartoon Network's Sampling Of Boomerang

Cartoon Network is planning to air The (New) Tom & Jerry/Grape Ape Show on their weekly sampling of Boomerang Saturday, October 26, at 6 AM Eastern/5 AM Central Time.

Now, the last time they ran it (on June 30), they played 2 Grape Ape cartoons, 2 classic Tom & Jerry cartoons, and one T&J 'toon from '75 ("An Ill Wind")! (Did I forget to mention they neglected to show any Mumbly cartoons?) Now, their inadvertent showing of those 2 classic T&J 'toons in the wrong era (it was 1977, y'all!) threw viewers (like me!) completely off track. It seems to me that Cartoon Network feels that the 1970s version of Tom & Jerry is as much anathema to show as diehard classic T&J fans feel it is watch---is it any wonder that its release on VHS or DVD is long overdue?!

Let's hope that CN stays focused on the motivation and shows the full stretch of '70s T&J 'toons this time...and, better yet, hope they haven't been taught to hate 'em! If not, I'm gonna sing 'em a heated aria they'll never 4get!

Due to an unfortunate circumstance beyond my control (TopCities suspended my account on account of excessive bandwidth!), my New Tom & Jerry Information Site has switched locations...yet again!!!

The new URL is:

http://1975tomjerry.50megs.com/

I have created a separate account @ 50megs for an external URL of the site totally devoted to The Great Grape Ape and Mumbly (you can put up a link to it on your sites, if you wish):

http://grapemumb.50megs.com/

I am well under the limit, @ 2.8 MB, so that should be a comfort to me. Let's hope 50megs will do for my site what GeoCities, Tripod, 0catch (indeed!) and TopCities did not. Wish me luck!

I have been trying to find my favorite Hanna-Barbera cartoon from when I was younger. I know it had huckleberry hound, and a whole group of characters in it. It was in the 80's. They did cartoon music videos and one of the ones they did was Bad Moon on the rise. I could have sworn the name of the show was Hanna-Barbera and Friends but I haven't found anything on that so I am probably wrong. If anyone has any leads or info of any kind it would be greatly appreciated.

Back in November I posted a message on this board asking if anyone could help me obtain two specific episodes from The New Tom & Jerry Series on VHS. Unfortunately, I've been unsuccessful, so I figured I'd give it another shot: I'm looking for the episodes "Cozmic Cat and Meteor Mouse" and "An Ill Wind" on VHS. I'm willing to work out ANYTHING with anyone who can help me get these two episodes.

I'm a HUGE fan of "Tom and Jerry." I have all the "Tom and Jerry" cartoons from 1940-57, but I am looking for anyone who owns any tapes of ALL the "Tom and Jerry" cartoons from the 1960s and 1975. I would like copies of them. We can work out an exchange,(I don't want to pay money) in that I could send you copies of other tapes of some shows ("Simpsons", or whatever) that I have. If you can help, please respond by EMAIL ONLY. I can be reached at jesris@pratt.edu, and you can check out my website at http://members.nbci.com/julie1013/juliescartoons.html

I am a volunteer for the Friends of the Adams County Library in Gettysburg, PA. This 1990 book by Patrick Brion was donated to our bookstore by a patron for fund raising. I understand this is a rare gem (Amazon shows one listed by a dealer for $295), but it did not sell in my first eBay attempt. I thought maybe a fan might treasure it. If anyone is interested in more details, please email me. I am completely open to offers. All proceeds benefit the library.

Hey there. I've been looking for grape ape episode synopsis, and then I came to your site. first I want to say, that it's great that you've taken your time to make such a good site for this not very known series. other than your site I only found about 2-3 other ones that had bits of info about the show. your episode list helped me very much, and then I saw the link at the buttom saying that soon you'll put up episode synopsis for the eps. so I just wanted to ask if you plan on doing that soon, or if you know another place with episode summeries, because I need them badly.
keep up the good work! ;)
