the pain i'm feeling now
is nothing i don't want
i cause this
with nothing but a needle
and a flame
burning the memories away
tearing the feelings from me
trying to find if i am still alive
wanting to know i can still feel
needing to understand the emptiness
i find a place that looks nice
burning the darkness of my soul
into the beauty of my body
the pain
the need to feel more
for a moment
i forget everything
but the pain i'm feeling now
but it will stop in time
a scar will mar my skin
a reminder of the breif moment
when i forgot you
