Oriel gave a narrowed look to the lad, her ever changing eyes studdying him. It took her only a moment to decide she was not ready to part with her gold kin, she hissed at him, but another interupted. She gave an inquisitive chirp to the little egg that began rocking, and she nosed close to the hatchling to encourage it even more. She scolded the boy momentarily, this hatching was for him and he hadn't gotten food for her young one yet! She hissed at him and quickly made a path for the youngster, who was a rather large brown with swirling chocolate matched with klah for coloring. The pitiful beast creeled in hunger as his little stomach knotted. He made a beeline for his new master, his eyes flaming with hunger. Oriel looked on and gave friendly gestures to the little flit, and for a moment they looked at each other, and the next he was curling up by the boy, ready for food. ~Gold egg, MINE! Not ready yet.~ She sent the muffled image to the boy smugly. ~Clutch mine! Proud!~
