Tr'ln wandered onto the beach, occasionally checking in on his brown - who was still fast asleep. He could catch the fringes of the brown's dreams - mostly the two of them fighting Thread together - and smiled at the aspirations of his young dracling. He'd heard that the flit clutches were so abundant here on the beach that one could scarcely help but fall over one. And, having always had a fascination for the little creatures, he'd come out to see if that was true. So, sure enough, he found himself nearly on top of a green and some lumps in the sand before he realized what it was. Delighted to have found one, he knelt down before her and searched his pockets desperately, dissapointed when he came up empty.

"I'm sorry, little green; I thought I had some wherry with me, but I guess I don't. Could I talk you out of one of your children anyway, though?"

His voice was hopeful, his eyes looking at her questioningly, as a child hoping not to be punished for utter forgetfulness.
