Subject: Gold... er, rather... Green eggs!

The small, pine green flit, the fire within her now extinguished, flies low over the beach, barely able to hold up the clutch of eggs she carries. A graceless landing in the nearest convenient nesting spot, and Yafah digs a nest out and begins to lay.
Ten eggs, no gold.
She sighs, but decides to stay with them anyway. No one is going to get one of these eggs without asking their mother.
