Garth flew ahead of Lily, bringing a piece of fish to his mate. If she ever flew again, he would be there, vieing for her love.
"Hello Cometer!" said Lily. "Garth dragged me over to see the clutch! He's really proud. It was his first flight, you know"
Smiling, she looked down at the clutch, and tiny green Tiff on her shoulder chirruped. "Tiff says it's lovely, too. Garth's very paternal towards her! He's going to be a great father, if he gets the chance!"
She looked at the floor, suddenly uncomfortable. "I...you don't suppose I could have an egg, do you? I don't care about the colour"
