*As the girl's bright blue eyes darted from egg to egg her flaming red hair began to stand on end. Excitement flowed through her like water being let out of a dam. Wiping her sweaty palms on her pants she looks around at the other Candidates. A group of them seemed to be having fun as one lay sprawled on their back looking startled yet amused. A tiny grin showed up on her face, but only for a moment as she returned to watching the eggs. She noticed the gold one that lay between the great feet of the large queen, but that one did not interest her. She wanted a blue or a green, but her heart was set on a blue. Letting her mind wander, her memories travel to her brother, who promised that he'd be joining her soon at the Sands. Hoping that he came soon so that they could wait together, she waiting for the Hatching to begin...*
