Kalya bit her lip, wondering when the next dragon would come out...she brushed back a strand of loose hair, focusing all her attention on the eggs. Would one be there, one who would be closer to her than any would ever come? One who would support her in her sorrows and misery?

A shoulder to cry on, more understanding than any human could ever be? Her heart swelled, was one for her? Channa had thought so...is my shoulder in there somewhere?
