Subject: *A far larger egg begins cracking, the ripping sound audible across the quiet Sands.*

*This egg, too, seems to be more plain than mottled, only a few patches of faintly discoloured ivory evident on the white shell. Quickly, as though the dragonet inside were in a hurry, the fragile egg shatters, leaving a lump of clumsy hatchling sprawled in the sand. The bronze staggers upright, bumping into Kalerren, who had been right there as he hatched. A surprised creel erupts from the dragonet as he locks gazes with his chosen partner. I am Nahoth. You Impress me. I want food. Now. He head-butts the boy, eyes whirling with tender devotion, playfulness, and most prominently, hunger.*
