Everyone is familiar with all-out energy drain -- that exhausted day (or night) when no matter how enticing that new movie, fabulous shoe sale, or friendly barbeque, we just can't psych ourselves up to go.

What can be harder to recognize is a low-grade energy drain. In this case, you may not necessarily feel the classic signs of exhaustion -- like achy muscles or that all-over tired feeling. What you do experience is an increasing lack of get-up-and-go for many of the activities you used to love.

"You may also find it harder to concentrate on tasks, and, eventually, you can also find your patience grows short and your level of frustration rises, even when confronted with seemingly simple challenges," says New York University nutritionist Samantha Heller, MS, RD.

If this is starting to sound familiar, take heart. Energy zappers are all around us, some obvious, some hidden. The good news: There is a way around almost all of them.

To this end, we asked health experts to help compile this list of the top 10 energy boosters. Try one, two, or all 10, and you're bound to see your energy levels soar. visit: http://www.nikharearab.com/healthtips.htm

Most newcomers to Canada tend to settle in the three biggest cities - Toronto, Montréal
and Vancouver. But many newcomers and many Canadians choose to live in the medium-sized cities, which they feel have as much to offer as the larger cities with a better quality of life.

Among the medium-sized cities are St. John's, Halifax, Québec City, Ottawa, Hamilton, London, Kitchener, St. Catharines, Oshawa, Windsor, Sudbury, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Regina, Calgary, Edmonton and Victoria.

All of the medium-sized cities have diverse, multi-ethnic populations ranging in size from approximately 150,000 to one million people, and all have the variety of public and private institutions and services found in the largest cities.

Some newcomers like the idea of living in smaller cities or towns like Moncton, Fredericton, Red Deer and Kelowna or prefer to live in a rural area. Depending on your skills or professional qualifications, some regions may have better job opportunities than others.

Each Web site has a list of government departments and agencies. In the bigger provinces, some government departments may have their own Web sites, with more detailed information. You may also find a directory of on-line services, a link to educational institutions, and a link to major cities and towns. Most of the Web sites also have a tourism section, where you can
discover the special attractions of each province and territory.

The Web site has links to information on the labour market and the housing market of communities across Canada. It also has useful s and information about moving within Canada.

Francophone communities: French is the mother tongue of 6.6 million Canadians. Most Francophones live in Quebec, but almost one million live in Canada's other provinces and territories.

: Research carefully the labour market trends or access to your profession in the province and city where you wish to live.

: To locate the medium-sized cities on a map of Canada, go to pages 26 and 27.

: Outside the larger cities, the costs of housing, higher education and services are often much lower.Visit: http://settlement_in_canada.sitesled.com/communities.htm

Desperado Of Rock Post Farm was born 5-05-2003. He is a Chestnut and is 29.00" tall. He is AMHR (261501T) registered. He is halter broke and very nice. He leads well and loaded and unloaded fine for me the one time I have had him on a trailer. He is friendly and easy to handle. One of the first to greet you at the gate everytime you are out there. He has straight legs and a good bite and is fully descended and ready for breeding. He will be exposed to his first mares this summer if he is not sold by then. Asking $600.00 -- will consider reasonable offers and will consider trading for an AMHR breeding sound mare. E-mail for pictures or more info.

There are hundreds of immigrant-serving organizations in Canada. Many are staffed by former newcomers to Canada, who understand the challenges that immigrants may face. They usually have people available who speak your language and can accompany you as interpreters. Citizenship and Immigration Canada supports many of these organizations financially, helping
newcomers adapt to life in Canada.

Settling in will be much easier if you contact an immigrant-serving organization as soon as
you arrive. The people who work for these organizations can help you find a place to live and can answer your questions about shopping, education for your children, transportation, language training and other important matters.

Immigrant-serving organizations can help you:

* find a place to live;
* get your Social Insurance Number andhealth-care card;
* enrol your children in school;
* get language training;
* find a family doctor;
* find out about government and community services for newcomers;
* look for a job;
* develop a realistic budget; and
* get emergency food aid, if it is needed.

Note:

In Quebec, the Ministère de l'Immigrationet des Communautés culturelles is organized into different regions. Each region has a local office, called a Carrefour d'intégration, which works with the immigrant-serving organizations to help newcomers adapt to life in Quebec.

Most immigrant-serving organizations offer, or can provide information on, the following
Government of Canada programs.

LINC (Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada)

LINC is a federal government program for all eligible adult immigrants.
It offers:

* free language training for adult newcomers who want or need basic English or French;
* language classes given by school boards, colleges and local organizations;
* the choice of studying part-time, full-time, evenings or weekends, depending on your
needs and your schedule; and
* transportation and child-minding, if necessary.

You will probably find the entry procedure fairly straightforward because you have a passport and other essential documents

You will be interviewed by a Canada Customs officer. You will need to give the officer a list of all the household and personal items that you will be bringing into Canada.

You should also show the immigrant visa to the customs officer, who will refer you to an immigration officer.

The immigration officer will check your visa and travel documents and ask you questions similar to those on the Immigrant Application Form, to verify that you are of good character and in good health.

At this time, you may also be asked to show proof of your funds. If there are no difficulties, the officer will authorize your entry to Canada as a permanent resident by signing your Record
of Landing or Confirmation of Permanent Residence.

If you arrive at one of the major Canadian airports, you will get a booklet called Welcome to Canada: What You Should Know.

It has information on most aspects of life in Canada. It also provides addresses and telephone numbers for:

* immigrant-serving organizations acrossCanada;
* language training assessment centres(which help eligible adult newcomers find free language classes);
* useful federal and provincial government offices.

When you travel to Canada, you will need to have the following documents with you:

a Canadian immigrant visa and Confirmation of Permanent Residence for each family member travelling with you;

a valid passport or other travel document for each family member travelling with you;
two copies of a detailed list of all the personal or household items you are bringing with you; and

two copies of a list of items that are arriving later.

The lists should state how much your personal and household items are worth.

Make two copies of these lists - one for you to keep and one for the Canada
Customs officer. You can get the Canada Border Services Agency form for this purpose
from the Internet .

You must also bring with you enough money to cover living expenses such as
rent, food, clothing and transportation for a six-month period. You may be asked to
show proof of your funds. visit: http://settlement_in_canada.sitesled.com/chapter1.htm

We still need those winter woolies here in Wisconsin, it's snowing
and blowing AGAIN but if you can "see through" the woolies on these
two boys just maybe you will see something you will like.

Havencrofts Cadberry Pride is an amha/amhr solid black 07 boy already
gelded. He's got a lot of spunk and isn't afraid of anything. Very
friendly and loves attention, he loves to be in "the way" if you have
something to do besides fuss over him.. Ties, leads, feet, stands and
loves to be groomed. Currently measures approx 31.5 in, both sire and
dam are 32, so he may get taller than them, however I am not worried
about him staying under 34.

Priced at $1200 on our website sale priced at $1000.
http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-9/1083352/Prideright2.jpg

Havencrofts Billy Jack is an amhr registered bay colt who will mature
approx 35 in. He is an 07 boy who has also already been gelded. He's
a sweet boy a bit shy but is always looking for attention. Ties,
leads and is easy to groom, handled daily, He has huge soft eyes, and
is always looking to please. Priced at just $500

http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-9/1083352/Jackhead3.jpg

If there is any chance that you think bays are beautiful and you like
Billy Jack you should take a look at "Sera". Havencrofts Moonlight
Serenade is an amhr registered bay coming 2yr old filly and Jack's
full sister. These two are each others mirror image and should mature
the same height I'm guessing.

Sera showed at a few shows and placed each time in 07. She's a
sweet "soft" girl like her brother and they both have that huge soft
eye. What a pretty pair. Sera is priced at $1200

http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-9/1083352/Searheadfront.jpg

We would consider "package pricing" on any two of these offerings.

Savannah was born in spring 1997. She is a bay pinto and is 35.25" tall. She is unregistered. She has been exposed to a 34" white stallion for an April/May 2008 foal. She is gentle and easy to handle. You can catch her anywhere, she is one of the first ones to greet you at the gate. She foals easily without assistance and is a wonderful mother. She is up to date on her vaccinations, deworming and farrier care. She is a very easy keeper. Only issue she has at all is with trimming her feet, e-mail for details on this. Asking $600.00

Grey Mist was born in spring 1999. She is a grey mare. She is 38" tall. She is not registered; I was told she originally was and that the previous owner threw her papers away. She is halter broke. She is bred to a white stallion for a April/May 2008 foal. She can be hard to catch in a large area but is fine in a small area(only hard if you havent caught her for a while) -- will follow you anywhere if you have a bucket of grain. Asking $500.00 OBO

***PRICE REDUCED*** D.M. Targets Tillie is a 5 year old mare (DOB 5-16-02). She is a black and white pinto with one blue eye. She is 34.25" tall. She is AMHR (224325B) Registered. She has been exposed to a 32" AMHR black pinto for a 2008 foal. She is halter broke and leads well once she is caught. She does take an experienced person to catch her and trim her feet due to her inexperience with them. When I bought her she had been on pasture since she was a yearling with very minimal handling. In the time I have had her she has already come around alot but she needs someone that will remember to be patient with her due to her inexperience. She is up to date on her vaccinations, deworming and farrier care. ***PRICE REDUCED $600.00*** will consider reasonable offers.

Shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility; including coggins and health certificates. Pre-Purchase exams are welcomed. Willing to consider Short-term payment plans. Paypal is accepted; including credit cards. E-mail me for pictures or more information.

NFC Egyptian Kings Spitfire, AMHA registered, DNA'd, stallion, blue roan, 31 inch, foaled 1988. Sire is Hemlock Brooks Egyptian King, dam is out of Flying W Farms Masterpiece. Spitfire is a proven sire, is sire of an AMHA two time wolrd champion. Spitfire is very gentle and easy for anyone to handle with or without a halter on. He was bred and born at NFC Farms, from there he went to Gross Hill and then to me. I am letting him go for a number of reasons, my health has been poor which places extra burden on my husband, that along with the fact that we cannot get hay, its not that we cannot afford hay, this is a big cattle area and cattle farmers are not selling what little hay they have. Spitfires paperwork is in order. $1,000 cash. I have no pictures, you will have to come and see him.

I recently rescued a mini mare (Dakota) she was in pretty bad shape but I got to her in time. She has sores all over though now most are almost healed, hooves overgrown and never been cleaned and in need of some weight. She is now almost a 100% and in need of a friend, she has taken up with my elephant ears for a companion when I'm not around. She is now spoiled rotten,but has never been around another horse. I feel she now needs a friend her size and type. I would prefer a mare, just because I don't know how she will act around a male mini and I don't want to cause her any stress. I cannot afford alot, doesn't have to be registered, and it would be nice to find one in Arkansas. Hopefully someone can help us out: -Dakota and Chantel
