I know, Lilith. He's been a little- reluctant. I don't want trouble, but the only dragons I know here seem to be mad at me. Smith didn't like being yelled at. Not one bit. I hope to leave as soon as he's conscious.
Sooner, maybe, if she's only going to be yelled at and have to listen to people beat K'mir. As happy as she had been to see her two blue weyrmates, she itched to leave now, like having a dirty harness left on too long. There was no place for her and hers here, not with the prejudice they would have to fight.

You! Yeah, you, in the brown! Smith ordered, finding a brown-clad male drudge not far from K'mir. Take this man to his weyr. His name is K'mir- second hall, third door to the left, third flight of stairs. Okay?
The drudge just looked at the drunk man the dragon had directed him to take to the weyr. So this was K'mir, the rapist green-rider that had most of the riders in a tizzy. Well, if he'd gotten himself drunk, and his dragon wanted him in the weyr, then he'd have to do it.
