L'geri winked at M'telle. "Right back attcha."
He had heard the some of the candidates were of the same preference as himself, and he was delighted to know that this was so.

Langerith craned his neck to look at the smaller blue. What is your name again, brother?

L'geri looked at the ex-rider.
"L'geri, Weyrling, Impressed to blue Langerith. He's the big boy."

Suddenly, his belt pouch rocked.
"Shards!"
A drudge came over, and he whispered the problem.
She nodded, and brought a platter of jerked meat strips. L'geri laid out both small eggs he had gotten from a gold clutch a few sevendays ago. The one on the left hatched first. It was a blue, the same exact shade as the sky. He was small, but then, he came from a small egg. L'geri began feeding him meat strips, and the hatchling ate himself sick.
Halfway through, the other egg hatched. This one was a dark blue, just a bare half shade different from Langerith's hide. The blue was shaped much like his older cousin. His wings were long, his limbs powerful, and his air that of dark power. He attacked the meat, and ate hiimself distended.
"You'll be Skyal, and you'll be Langith."
The one called Skyal was the one that hatched first, while Langith was the second to hatch.
He grinned somewhat sheepishly at the other two, and placed Skyal around his neck. Before he could do so to Langith, though, the dark blue tucked himself between Langerith's paws.
The small one tickles.
Should I take him from you?
No! I like the little one. He looks like me.


"I forgot I had these two in my belt pouch. Sorry!"
