I certainly remember those thin nylon speedos we had to wear for swimming activities and swimming classes which left nothing to the imagination because one could easily see the shape and size of our genitals, especially when they were wet. I was not on the swim team but often attended as spectator to watch our school team competing with other schools, and yes many girls also came for the eye candy like you mention. One could see the girls whispering in each others ears when the boys were out of the water, obviously commenting on some boy they fancied. Sometimes one could see a boy or two getting erect with a very prominent tent in his speedo, which obviously delighted the girls. On monitoring showers, our assistant coach in the junior swim classes, up to age 12 or 13, was a young female in her 20s and she would often be monitoring us in the showers before or after swim class, especially when the male coach was not available. Most of us were not shy or embarrassed being naked in her presence and we actually enjoyed her attentions knowing she was admiring our young bodies. However since spankings were allowed at the school she would sometimes slap our bare butts in the changing room and showers if we misbehaved. It was the same during swim class by the pool, if a boy misbehaved he was taken aside, his speedo pulled down and given hand swats on his bare butt to the amusement of the rest of us boys watching. All in all I think that females supervising nude male activities from a young age up through adulthood is a good way to teach males to respect and submit themselves to women.
