Subject: Help with Mallory

I'm 16 and I am allowed (and pretty much expected) to spank Mallory, the girl I am babysitting this summer. She is 7. How often should I spank her? Should I only spank her for really serious stuff, or should I find some excuse to spank her every day or every other day?

Also, how hard should a spanking be for a girl that age? I have watched her father spank her a few times and there is no way I am spanking her that hard! He really leaves her in a lot of pain. She cried on my lap for half an hour Monday morning after he left for work, from a spanking he was giving to her when I got there. But I am worried that if she is used to harsher spankings mine won't get her to obey me.

So far I have only spanked her 3 times in 7 days, and I have only used my hand and only given her 7 swats each time, all on her bottom. Each time she cried a little and then got very cuddly and apologized for making me spank her. Luckily, she hasn't misbehaved badly yet. I know I will have to use the hairbrush on her eventually.

Mallory is the only person I have ever given spankings to. I was not raised with spankings growing up so I don't have much experience to guide me. Any advice would be nice.
