Date Posted: 02:00:58 11/22/15 Sun In reply to: J.attends 's message, "Diaper discapline" on 06:28:18 05/20/15 Wed I find putting my son back into nappies and baby pants a most effective punishment. He goes from being quite unruly to being highly embarrassed and quiet. The problem I had, however, was what he should wear over his nappy and pants. His jeans don't fit because his nappy is too bulky. I did toy with the idea of making him wear a dress, but that seemed a bit too harsh on him, certainly for now. And then it struck me - a onesie! A onesie works perfectly because it's quite baggy, so there's plenty of room for his nappy. But it's still slightly odd for a 15 year old boy to be wearing one, so he considers it part of his punishment. And when people come round and see him in it they don't immediately think he's being punished, they just think it's something he's chosen to wear for comfort. Of course, he's convinced you can tell he has a nappy on underneath (and I must admit you can sometimes notice the bulky padding on his bottom, and his baby pants do sometimes crinkle), so he finds the whole outfit mortifying.
