As you describe, a real punishment spanking is a very bad thing to happen to you. That is why it is called a punishment. That is why kids are afraid of getting a spanking and, in most cases, are much better behaved when they know what is at stake. It is NOT a sexy scene that makes anyone horny, or spanking would not have become the traditional standard childhood method of discipline that many of us grew up with. When you heard someone crying and making a terrible fuss, you knew they were truly sorry about what they were getting.

Many hardcore spankos are turned on by the idea of real punishment spanking. It's not the same as enjoying the experience of actually getting a real punishment spanking. Some are so turned on by the idea that they have an irresistible urge to find a disciplinarian and go through the ordeal. They are truly anxious, even frightened, when having to face the spanking, and they hate it while it is happening to them.

However, for a spanko, the anticipation of being spanked, and the feelings about it after it is over turn them on. The fire of the spanking is unbearable, but the soreness on the bottom soon after that takes awhile to go away can also be erotically stimulating. The psychological and physical pain are real, but in the end, the bottom line is — no pain, no gain.

Ever since I started reading this forum. I've noticed that spankings are described by everyone here as one of the worst pains they've experience. I feel like over the years I've been grossly misled by all the videos I've watched. For a long time I would think "this doesn't look so bad, I could probably survive this". In this group however, it is always 100% guaranteed that every spanking will result in crying, bawling and sobbing. I feel like I'm uncovering reality here.

There are all kinds of spanking videos and people who make them. I've only seen it as adult entertainment. Sometimes it is convincing as punishment level. The viewer should factor in that they are usually seeing people who do it for money, and can be very experienced and acclimated to that level of pain. Some people have very high pain thresholds. Then, as one should expect, many videos must respect a spanking model's limits, and there is a lot of acting.

In a consensual situation, an adult processes pain very different than a child. Even a mild spanking can be traumatic to a child. It is also true that, for adults, actual crying is not as common as one might think. Many people wish to break down in tears, but find it just doesn't happen. It takes an emotional reaction that physical pain alone does not cause. In entertainment videos, one can expect there's some acting involved, though I've seen some convincing emotional breakdowns.

Spankos who like the "idea" of spanking also like to write spanking fiction and present it as fact. Without the bawling and sobbing, it's not a very exciting story. I would not take accounts on a spanking forum as gospel.
