It happened over new year celebrations, I was 17 and thought it would be fun to wear an old fur coat that had belonged to my late great-grandmother. In hindsight (then as much as now) I should have asked permission first but did not. Off I went to visit friends and ring in the new year in my fun fur coat, everywhere I went it was greeted with great smiles and laughs. That is until I returned home. Mum took one look at me in the coat and wanted to know who I thought I was, what I thought I was doing and why I thought it was a good idea to parade around in something that did not belong to me and was worth a serious amount of money. I was swiftly sent upstairs told to put the coat BACK in the wardrobe where it lived then go to my room take off my jeans and pants and wait.
