Subject: Sass Mouth Author: Bobby711 [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 05:20:46 11/07/25 Fri Last night I was allowed to attend an activity which got my home past my normal, 9:30, bedtime. The condition was: will have to be in bed tomorrow (Friday) by 8:30. Well, I did get in at almost 11 and on my way to bed my mom said again, tomorrow in bed by 8:30. Instead of a Yes, Ma'am response, I mumbled a sassy response. Unfortunately, she heard and said we will discuss this in the morning. This morning, I got my mouth washed and a good paddling. In my haste to talk mom out of it, her response to me was an emphatic: a paddling and a bar of soap will definitely take care of any sass mouth - so bare your bottom and to the bathroom. So I control what I say, but sometimes there is a slip up. The last time, I mumbled something under my breath while walking away from a neighbor who scolded me.
