My friend Billy, his older brother Jack was my sitter for a time & all sitters had spanking privileges back then in the South. I got two punishments that were public and involved other scouts. These were collective punishments and I did nothing myself to earn them. It was quite insensitive of your peers to tease you and bully you. At least now you are hearing countervailing interpretations. Stay strong and benefit from the attempts to belittle you.
