 Allison: I hope your Dad has prospered with his name. I find it formal but the "22" is off-putting. I meant just to indicate that I might be a descendant of Alfred the Great. I am not sure of that relationship but would be honored if indeed it is part of my past.

My good friend Karen's mother and aunt both felt the spoon and described in great detail just how much damage it could do to a naughty bare bottom. My mother used the even longer yardstick on me. It too leaves memorable traces right across both cheeks!

Boys tended to brag about their bottom marks and even about how long they smarted and tingled. They aren't anything to be ashamed of. What is shameful, usually, is what you did that earned the spanking.

Intrigued: The friend was ok. He just thought I got off too easy and wanted me to feel a really good one.
