I was not allowed makeup or dating till I was 16. And they were quick to dispense corporal punishment. I didn't however get pregnant before I was married. Girls could wear some makeup, could date or hang around with boys in public places, but there were definite limitations on sexual activity. Many teen girls did not receive spankings at home, as it was not in fashion at the time and place where I lived. The wild girls I knew often came from stricter homes, and were rebelling against the kind of parents who typically did use corporal punishment. I wouldn't be surprised if spanking caused more sexual activity than discouraged it. [ Post a Reply to This Message ]
