In a non-consensual situation, like being punished by an authority figure, that would be a bizarre experience knowing they were sexually excited by it. I'm trying to imagine if I had had a stepdad, and I knew my spanking was part of foreplay for sex with mom. How could that possibly be a good learning experience for the child? What is the meaning of punishment? How could you trust that punishment was fair? How could you ever trust that parent?
I think a critical thing about a spanking is that the disciplinarian must be worthy of respect. If the one administering the punishment lacks integrity, then what moral authority do they have? Is spanking your stepdaughter as part of sex, and for your own sexual gratification, and not even caring if the stepdaughter knows that sex with her mother follows, an example of what a good person would do? Does a good person use a child's pain to fuel their own sex drives? What does it feel like to be used in such a way by such a parent?
