I was hanging out with my older male friend. We were slam dancing in the living room and playing around and I decided it would be a good time to make my move. I was acting naughty trying to get him to turn me over his knees and I was being pretty forward about it and he was catching on and said "Okay, you can stop that now." I thought "Oh great, I'm just about there. If I act a little bit naughtier he'll spank me." So I said real naughtily "Oh yeah. And what if I don't?" His reply really shocked me. He said very calmly "Then I'll have to ask you to leave." That kind of burst my bubble.
I know he wants to, I KNOW it, but he wont play.

Interesting that you say you're behaving but you're also still pushing boundaries trying to force people to spank you without an existing, negotiated discipline relationship. Do you realize your mindset about this shows a lack of respect for consent? That sort of attitude would get you banned from the spanking scene meetups near me. Most people don't like a pushy bottom.

Shelby should be taking the bathbrush to you to emphasize the seriousness of your misbehavior.

I'm not sure how much older your older male friend is. I'm in my early 60's and I've been in this situation a few times. It sounds like he greatly enjoys your company and takes pride in passing on to interested young people his experience and wisdom. I don't know if you've discussed your interest in spanking with him, but he may, um...give it some thought and may possibly have fantasies about spanking, or making love to this intelligent, attractive, spirited young lady, but knows it's best to keep that line drawn. It might annoy him that you are trying to get him into something he knows he shouldn't do. My advice is to let it go and just gain from wisdom he's amassed over the years and feel fortunate that he has chosen you to pass it on to.

I think Thea is on the right track about the hated bathbrush emphasizing the seriousness of your behavior.
