On the side of the garage in back was a bench next to a woodpile. My walk of shame was being led through the house and out to the bench by the side of the garage for an over-the-knee wood shingle spanking. It was a march of shame in my underpants and a look of panic on my face. Then there was the walk of shame back to the house with a wet red face and clutching the burning seat of my pulled back up underpants. Mom gave spankings in the house, dad gave them out by the woodpile. At older ages, dad did the spanking, but it was down in the basement. Someone would see him standing on his back porch either naked or bottomless waiting for his dad & the word would go out.
