My bedtime is 9:30 pm, on school/work nights, which is usually Sun - Thursday and 11 pm the latest on non School/work nights usually Friday and Saturday. Conditions: if I have an activity that may impact my bedtime, I need permission. If permission is given, I have to come straight home and then straight to bed. The next night my bedtime may be lowered, depending. Bedtime rules for me are face washed, teeth brush, in pjs, lights out and in bed no later than 9:30. One minute late means a spanking. Also, I have to stay in bed until 6 am. If bathroom needed, straight there and back to bed. Sorry for the long post. [ Post a Reply to This Message ]

My 19-year-old daughter does not have a curfew but has been spanked if she comes home in the early mornings of the am. She also has a bedtime during the week of 10:30pm. She has been spanked for going to bed way past her bedtime the next morning. My other daughter age 17 is only allowed out on weekends and her curfew depends on where and what she was going to do. My bedtime had been 10 pm, but when I do not get 8 - 9 hours of good sleep, I have issues and tend to tantrums for any little thing the next day. So, my bedtime is now 9:30 and Fri/Sat it is 11 pm. Like your daughter, I am allowed out later for approved activities, but I have to be home and in the house by the time approved, albeit 10:30. I am never allowed out past 1 pm on a Friday or Saturday. If I am not in at the time allowed or miss my bedtime, I am spanked. So, I guess I do have curfews. [ Post a Reply to This Message ]

Depending who she is with and where they were at will depend on if she will be spanked or not. I have at times have gone and picked her up and spanked her when we got home. I do not do either on purpose as it is just not worth it. Yes, unfortunately and humiliatingly I tell you that I do still scream and sob during and after my spanking. My mom feels rules have to be followed and some weeks I may go over her knee two times or one time. I never kept a log of my spankings. I have heard of some kids having to have a spanking every week, but at my age, I do not think that is a good idea because the spankings I get now are too often in my opinion.
