A few weeks ago I was at the store and there was this girl, probably 11 or 12 who was chasing after her little sister who was maybe 3. I thought the girl was doing a really good job in trying patiently to keep control of her little sister and the mom should have been doing that and not relagating that duty to her 11 year old daughter, but the mom yelled at her and sort of implied that she was going to spank her. I thought that was terribly unfair. She looked like a really sweet kid and was being a really good big sister.

So, I don't have much to contribute to the group and I thought I would just post something.

My parents delegated certain responsibilities age appropriate. So if her responsibility was to look after her little sister and she was neglecting it, I think she should get a spanking.
