With our daughters it's either over the knee for hand or hairbrush spankings or the diaper position when they get the belt or the paddle. We usually spank them in their room on their beds, but on very rare occasions we do it in the living room, as warning to their siblings. Anecdotal evidence suggests that the diaper position spankings has a longer lasting effect, though its hard to tell if that is because of the position or because the harder spanking. Our daughters admit that being exposed like that s a humbling experience.
