Subject: There's going to be a Volume 140

I am so far behind right now. So much to do in the big room.

Here's where I'm at. Two weeks left on 138, its a 3/7 split, but I'm kind of hoping to end up with a 5/5 or better.

As for 139, it's 0/6 so two slots open for overflow, two for new fiction. depending on what happens with 138, that volume should drop next month. November.

Of course if there's overflow from that, which I reckon there might be, 140 will be a thing. Releases will become irregular at that point. If it fills in time, December release, but I suspect it might be January 2025. If this happens, I will be altering the table of contents to reflect when the stories dropped. Good chance the filler would have run out, so it will be new and new-ish fiction.

Now, there will always be room for older fiction, stuff I might have missed in my searches, I still look to see if anything pops up, and while a couple of titles have, they've turned out to be utter fvck-fests, not the stuff I want to preserve. When the Smoking Fetish takes a back seat to sex, I'm really not interested.

I know I've asked this before, but if anyone is sitting on any 'classics' that aren't in the library, please let me know, send it my way, or at least point me in it's direction. I'd really appreciate it, and I guess a lot of people following the series would as well.

Are there any classics left out there? I've been told to explore the archive of the now defunct Dark Side forum, but every time I've tried to load it, my machine has sh*t the bed, might be a RAM issue, and not having enough.

And, I reckon come March next year, I'll have been at this for 20 years, as I recall starting my reconstruction of Smoking by Denise early in 2005, and it took me pretty much until the end of that year to complete the original rebuild, and I admit, it wasn't great, each page was it's own PDF, It wasn't very popular, but it did get uploaded to an ancient GMail account that was subsequently stolen, so much for the honour system, it was the only way I could get it out. But I know a few people did download it. I no longer have the original files, not that it matters now, but I did print it, so I could note updates and corrections.

Anyway, enough of my rambling, I'm having trouble keeping my eyes open. Just thought I'd let you know where I'm at. I'll update the NSC database at the end of the year, probably the Library database too, if it's not too bloody hot. Hate Summer.
