Friends With Benefits (Linzi Dixon) - A Review

Part One - The Author

Linzi Dixon is a writer of smoking fetish fiction who is still active on Amazon as of 2024. They have published a number of collections of short stories and longer works covering traditional smoking fetish themes along with stories mixing this fetish with other fetishes. (1)

Part Two - Friends With Benefits (Anthology)

This 2016 anthology comprises three stories, with the broad theme, as the title suggests being the social aspects of smoking, the way the habit can bring people together. The title story is a straight forward narrative with no fetishes, the other two stories cater to drinking, foot and bondage fetishes.

This reviewers personal preference is for that first story, it's a classic 'Loring Era' narrative with a plot that emphasises the social aspects of smoking and for the protagonist, a chance to create a new identity with the help of their new friends. The second story is mostly of interest for it's deployment of foot/bondage fetishizes without resorting to whips, chains and thigh high leather boots, again the broad theme is the social aspects of smoking. The final story sees the habit act as the glue to keep two disparate housemates together.
