Subject: New Smoke City - Volume 133 RELEASED!
133 WOOO!
So anyway, this one back-filled alarmingly. As I've said elsewhere, I use a pseudo-random number generator to pick the stories from the filler pool. I fill from the bottom, up, 10, 9, 8…you get the idea.
Anyway, it kept picking Smokedawg stories, in fact, it picked all the remaining ones. At first I was happy that we got to finish the volume with Smokedawg…except it kept picking those.
So it turns out we have a fairly even split between Listenman, and Smokedawg.
But…
It means the next three volumes will be all back-filled with Listenman, yike! Oh, I guess some of his stuff isn't that bad.
Also, this volume features some different art AI-generated stuff by LandoJackson. And I have a lot of it, and for AI art, it's rather good. On the art front, I still have a lot of art by SFPinups too. Shame I'm running out of volumes to put it on. If people wrote more, it would be less of a problem. (sigh)

Since there's only one author left in the filler pool, I may as well get a head-start and back-fill the next two volumes now. I reckon if I go 2 & 8, that'll leave me one short for Volume 136, but things are subject to change, if I happen to get more than two stories per month in the next two months, a full volume might drop in August, and if there are leftovers, there will be a volume 137. What'll happen after that, I have no idea. Was kind of hoping to get to Volume 140, even a forlorn hope of Volume 150. I have said over the years, if people keep writing, I'll keep releasing volumes. I know there are people with works in progress, so something will happen, for sure. When? Dunno.
After August, I won't be able to maintain the regular monthly drops, so keep checking regularly after that date.
I just keep wondering what the f*ck happened.
