June, July and August are ready to go.
I miscalculated slightly, and there are eight stories back-filled in each. Now I've just got to see how things play out.
If things go well, there's a chance of there being a Volume 137. If there is any overflow from 134, 135, or 136, they'll go into 137, which might drop next year at this rate. That said, 2025, SSN and NSC will have been around for 30 years. If 137 drops next year, I'll jazz it up some.
I do wish people would keep writing, I've got 140-odd cover images to use up.
Come to think of it, there are stories I don't have, either something written years or decades ago, or something more recent I've missed.
I'll keep my hand in, I reckon I might have enough content for one or two more volumes of Seductively drawn, there will be one more volume of Litany of the Unfinished. I'll still be contributing, in a reduced capacity.
Looking back, the same sort of thing that is happening with NSC, happened with SSN back in the day, it started off slowly, picked up, peaked, and declined before fizzling out.
Plus, we've lost a lot of veteran authors, Blackbladder appears to have retired, I have no idea whats become of S or Closet Fascination, S hasn't answered any of my emails, and CF is 404. Baz is working on stuff, BlcklungLover has a story in the works, Mark will be writing and releasing Brianna and Gretchen stories, Smokeydonkeygirl still pops up every now and then, half the time they never get finished. Just a few years ago, I was treating this like an unpaid full-time job. Ye gods, I was…an Intern…
Would have been nice to have been paid, too.
