You mention AI. I think that's a huge part of the problem among would-be fiction writers. When you can plug in your story idea in a text box and have thousands of words cranked out at the push of a button, life is sure a lot easier than the bad old days of 2022 when you had to spend hours and hours trying to come up with the words yourself!
The fetish community is shrinking and the complete lack of smoking seen in the wild snuffs out writer inspiration. Couple that with the advent of AI offering instant gratification for a writer to have his vision realized and I'm afraid it's a bleak future for smoking fetish fiction authored by humans.
