I'm by no means sold on the concept, I just find it interesting for the average hack golfer. As far as the timing issue goes I don't think it will matter much. If the "unbalanced" swingweights are "unbalanced" (by conventional considerations) it may just result in a set that can be swung "naturally". That is, the lighter clubs will naturally be swung faster, while the heavier ones require a slower and more deliberate swing all with the same perceived "effort".

Again, I'm not espousing this, I just don't dismiss it out of hand...
