If you want to ruin your swing forever then buy just any old club. You will compensate for the club that does not fit and groove an improper swing. It could make a 25% difference in the long run. I could care less which way he ends up going, I have stressed the importance of having fitted clubs. He will be sorry if he doesn't get clubs that fit.
