Subject: What clubs does Moe use?

A fellow on the BGG board had the opportunity to see Moe in person and here is his report;

"I had the opertunity to see Moe yesterday, Saturday March 30th. It was his last demonstration prior to leaving to attend the Masters. I had the opertunity to ask and see and watch him. His left hand grip is basically neutural."

"I ask him about his sight and he told me that the doctor told him he should have a full recovery."

"The tempture was around 88 Saturday while he hit balls. His drives were around 250 yrds. His 4 wood about 210. His 7 iron 140 to 150. He used a Taylor made driver 7.5 degree. Special made Taylor made irons, and Natural Golf Beryllium Copper woods. He wore a NG cap and carried his clubs in a Titleist bag."

"He has other clubs, but I dont' know what they are. His irons are specially made for Moe by Taylor Made. You can't buy them on the market. They were specially weighted for him."

"If Moe returns to Floriday next year (2002 to 2003) and if he agrees to do demonstrations as he did this year and in past years you can see him most likely at the Hidden Lakes Golf Course in New Smyrna Beach, Florida."

"It was my understanding that this year he basically did demonstrations every other Saturday near where he lives (Titusville, Florida near the Royal Oak Golf Club)."

"If you have a chance to play the Royal Oak Course do, you will like it."

"Hidden Lakes in New Smyrna Beach is a par 65. It has an abbundance of hazzords. The extended rough most likely means a "lost ball", stroke and distance."

"The first day I played it it ate my lunch. The second time was much better, my first time to score 72, I only wish it was on a par 72 course. But that was good for me, 7 strokes over par. The best I have ever done was 4 over last Summer."

Hope this was interesting.

Gordon
