Subject: Career "Over-the-Topper" - Can NG help me?

I am a conventional golfer, 24 handicap, with a seemingly incurable over-the-top problem. I have video-analyzed my swing to death. I recognize exactly what I am doing wrong, and where it occurs in my swing. I simply find it impossible to execute the "flattening" of the club at beginning of downswing, the left hip thrust, the right elbow drop-down, and the corresponding inside-to-out swing path.

My question is whether there is any inherent characteristic of the NG golf swing that would help mitigate my over-the-top tendencies. Said another way, will my current swing flaws in regular golf translate into equally disasterous consequences in NG? Or is NG more "forgiving" toward folks with a natural tendency to go over-the-top?

Would appreciate your honest feedback. Am seriously considering giving up on this sport, but wondering first if NG might be a viable alternative.

Thanks.
