If the previous poster knew the answer to your problem, why did he direct you to another site?

I got a GREAT over the top tip from a guy on the SAGF. It really gives the "feeling" of the proper swing. Here's what you do...

Take a club and kneel down. Raise the club to the top of your backswing.

Feeling #1: Drop the head of the club straight down to the floor. This is the 6/100th's position that we strive for, pretty much without regard to swing style. Your shaft should be parallel to the target line

Feeling #2: Rotate your shoulders / arms / hands unit so that the clubhead drags on the ground until it is in front of you and striking an imaginary ball. This "out" feeling is what we "OTT" offenders miss from the swing. We focus so much on going "at" the ball, we don't do the proper "down" and "out" movements...
