I looked again at the LOBG book and the grip described there is definitely much stronger than the one currently recomended by NG. Why the change? Does anybody know for sure? Also, I have looked at Tom Sanders' main ideas and they are not far at all from the LOBG. Are you saying that he still is sticking with the grip as in the LOBG book? To tell the truth, I have switched to the new grip and am having trouble squaring up the club face consistently. After reading your comments, I believe I will try the old grip again in practice as soon as it stops raining.
Generally speaking, before I switched to NG I rarely broke 90. Since I switched, I have never shot above 90. The main problem I have now is off the tee. Everything goes right. Maybe the old grip will help.
