In reply to: Jim 's message, "Lead elbow collapse???!" on 09:23:00 03/01/02 Fri

Pages 25 and 38.

The grass cutting drill with Ken Martin and the article about the short practice club featuring Ed Woronicz. Both show them in a position after impact with having their lead elbows plastered to their sides, Ken Martin extremely so, almost looking like he is doing a pitch shot.

This is a radical departure from the swing of Todd Graves or Tom Sanders, and that elbow collapsing into the lead side is prone to cause a hook ( that is if you are using a strong trail hand palm grip, which is the cornerstone of NG) because it causes you trail forearm to rotate over the lead !
