Subject: Lead elbow collapse???!
In reply to: Chazman 's message, "Now Why Did NG Change The Swing? My take!" on 14:13:22 02/27/02 Wed

>Now as for the folding elbows type swing, well when
>you have your lead elbow collapse into your left side
>midway through the downswing (like they advocate in
>the NG magazine issue two months back) all that does
>is make your trail forearm rotate over lead hand too
>early into the downswing, possibly causing a hook!

Where in the world did you ever get that idea? The lead arm stays straight until after impact. The new swing is light years ahead of anything else on the market. You would know that if you ever tried it. You haven't tried it so you do not know.
