Mike: Make those kind of wild assertions, and you are going to get the Chaz stoked up.

However, in your own antagonistic way, you do bring up a couple of good points.

When NG quits using Moe as their poster boy, I'll quit posting over here on the NG forum. Until that time, I think it is important for students to understand that there are major differences between what NG is teaching, and what their poster boy, Moe, is doing.

As for Shankland, he can work with Moe for another 10 years, and he will still be wrong about the mirror imaging. By the way, he did get everything else right. With Moe's mechanics you do not try to keep the right should back by looking into an imaginary mirror behind you. That idea is the complete antithesis of Moe's swing.

You see Mike, you are one of those motorboat guys going but, but, but, but all the way down the Nile River. At least you say it right. At least you admit that NG is not the way that Moe swings. You see, I like that about you. You are saying that, perhaps, Moe inspired NG, but NG is a completely different swing than the way Moe swings. Mike, that's what NG should be saying, also.

Mike, I can just read one of these posts, and hear you singing the but, but blues. I swing like Moe, but I don't stand as wide as Moe. I swing like Moe, but I don't lock my knees like Moe. I swing like Moe, but I don't reach so far to the ball like Moe. I swing like Moe, but I don't take the club inside the plane like Moe on the backswing; I take the club straight back on plane. I swing like Moe, but I don't play the driver to the outside of the left shoulder. I swing like Moe, but I don't grip the club like Moe did during his playing days. I swing like Moe, but I don't have a big U (flat spot) like Moe. I swing like Moe, but, but, but, but, but,...here comes the motorboat. Who was that anyway? Spencer Tracy and Hepburn on the Nile...but, but, but, but.

Mike, as some point, you guys just gotta say, "Hey, I don't swing like Moe. I swing like NG, and NG is a far cry from Moe." Quit using the poor guy as your poster boy, and get on with your own swing.

As far as me having a right to discuss Moe on this DG? Mike, it's a discussion group; not Hitler group. If you want to play Hitler, well, you know where to go.
