The length of the club has everything to do with the lie. If a club has a lie angle of 60 degrees and is one foot long how would it play compared to the same club at ten feet long? Think about it.

Where did you get that figure. Please point me to where you found that info posted as fact. That is like saying that 85% of people can wear a size ten shoe with no problem.
