May I suggest you go to Golfsmith, or Dynacraft's websites and look up the specs on any of their clubheads. They are listed by lofts and lies, and guess what, there are no shafts on them at all!!!! Measuring of lie is taken on the clubhead only!

Perhaps you should look at some of the websites and bulletin boards that are frequented by clubmakers, you may have your eyes opened. #1. fact, (which most clubmakers will only reluctently disclose) the average hack should develope a repeatable swing way before even considering clubfitting. How can anyone be club fit when they are swinging it all over the place, or are trying to even find a swing???

Gee, then I guess they bend them then, don't they, or didn't you know that they bend the heads on a loft and lie machine??
